I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in February of 2008. In June 2018, I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobile Type, a genetic, connective tissue disorder which explains my symptoms due to faulty collagen.
My health is a daily challenge, but I don't want to be defined by this aspect of my life, though it's pretty hard to ignore. I am trying to stay functional and positive despite this challenge.
I started this blog to try to share what I learn on my journey with other suffers. I am also interested in learning from them.
My other interests include native gardening and craft beer tasting as well as the constructed language, Esperanto, which I started learning via the free language learning site, DuoLingo.
